In rain car has less influence than usual, and driver has more
Given that Alonso is about 7 000 000 times better driver than Perez, do the conclusion.
In rain car has less influence than usual, and driver has more

In their glory years they had some contempt on all others with their mind games. To see them now struggle feels in some way just. It is the same as with empires: they don't last forever. And it is good for the sport for others to take over. Now RB, may be next year AM, may be Williams, who knows.Schuttelberg wrote: ↑07 May 2023, 10:28There is something so satisfying about Mercs being top in practice and now getting smashed by half the grid. The tirade from 14-21 of them being slow and others being "very quick" when they were well clear of the others and just playing games with the fans biting them in the @rse is just satisfying AF.
Didn't Toto once say that "Williams are a threat?" when the whole world knew they were struggling for money, Toto got their lead driver in the 11th hour and had his own driver put in that team. As a long time fan of the old racing team, seeing Williams even if just for a weekend actually beat their star driver in one session on merit is just gold!
Sounds to me like they are stacking red flags, so hope the commentary team have some interesting things to fill the gaps.

Correct me if I’m wrong (I usually am), but was it not for a technical issues two races ago, Perez would be leading the championship?
Didn't Verstappen start a race as 15th because of a technical issue as well?djones wrote: ↑07 May 2023, 12:34Correct me if I’m wrong (I usually am), but was it not for a technical issues two races ago, Perez would be leading the championship?
Think the FIA has been doing this for a while stalling on red or yellow flag decisions or VSC with an eye on entertainment or throwing red flags to create drama which could be a VSC
How long it takes 10 cars leaving the pitlane from the green light, considering the gap they need between each other to run on clean air?
Max's outlaps were 1.45's. Given you could leave 4-5 seconds between them you could have got at least 40% of the field through on another hot lap. Probably even more if it was a fast outlap. 15 seconds remaining if you removed the outlap speed (given cars do different outlap speeds) your looking at 4-5 cars being able to start a hot lap within a safe distance of each other. 4 cars out of 9 on a hot lap is 44% of the field.Andres125sx wrote: ↑07 May 2023, 13:42How long it takes 10 cars leaving the pitlane from the green light, considering the gap they need between each other to run on clean air?
There was no time to restart the sesion, that´s all
Would have made quali interesing, but now it will make race interesing, I do prefer it this way
Are you proposing a final qualifying run where only a part of the drivers who qualified to Q3 can participate? That would be extremelly unfair and against the spirit of sports.chrisc90 wrote: ↑07 May 2023, 13:50Max's outlaps were 1.45's. If you make it out in time then why not? Anyone could participate. It would be no different to what happens now except marginally less time.Andres125sx wrote: ↑07 May 2023, 14:05Are you proposing a final qualifying run where only a part of the drivers who qualified to Q3 can participate? It would also be dangerous, as all drivers will push like mad on the warm up lap to pass the line before the red light. Forcing drivers to fight on a street circuit, with cold tires from the pitlane, when you know beforehand not all of them will do it, doesn´t look like a good idea IMHO
