If I was Norris, I would think that opinion (which counts) would be more in his favour if the overtake was fought for and won with the advantage returned.

Norris got the undercut twice and drove off. Aparently they had some sort of a deal at the start of the race. I would guess firts corner standing.Darth-Piekus wrote: ↑21 Jul 2024, 16:56Can someone explain to me what happened and they had to switch places?
Absolutely spot on. The risk against Hamilton was very little and they still would have time to cover Hamilton if Oscar pitted first. They very very nearly shot themselves in the foot here. They are too reactive.Emag wrote: ↑21 Jul 2024, 16:56Yes, it is incredibly stupid. Both cars within 2 seconds and you have a 6-7 seconds cushion to the guy you want to cover.
You give priority to the car which has track position first, then pit Lando the following lap. Easy. Maintain the order and let drivers settle it on track and there was absolutely zero risk to Lewis. At least no risk that wasn't applicable to Oscar as well with P1-P2 being that close.
It did go well with Hakkinen and Coulthard thoughproteus wrote: ↑21 Jul 2024, 16:59It didnt go well with Senna and Prost in the past. But Norris sticked to the deal though.Darth-Piekus wrote: ↑21 Jul 2024, 16:56Can someone explain to me what happened and they had to switch places?
True, but Coulthard was a clear number two. I dont see Oscar as such.Dimond wrote: ↑21 Jul 2024, 17:05It did go well with Hakkinen and Coulthard thoughproteus wrote: ↑21 Jul 2024, 16:59It didnt go well with Senna and Prost in the past. No, he's going to be a threat. And he's improving fast. It's the wrong time to.pick that fight.
