% to fastest race pace on the same strategy.

Miquel tweeted that there will be no perfomance updates for Singapore, just circuit specific stuff.

3 months until they bring other updates, and i think they tried to introduce those upgrade in Singapore, so, unfortunetely they cant, they would have a month to study data and improve that if they put on the car this wekend. Sadly i dont expect to much after last year and until now, i see the future, bring the updates to Austin, be P10 and P12 in the Qualy and say it " we need learn about the upgrades" i dont trust anymore.

Austin it is then, like last year. It is a sprint weekend but at least parc ferme rules are a bit less restrictive now.

It’s ironic that, in 2020, Max’s talent was a contributory cause to the problem we had,” he remarked.

“He has an ability to control this sort of instability that would be impossible for some others. We know that sometimes, making a car on the edge in this way can create a quicker car – and you don’t realise you went in the wrong direction because you are still extracting more lap time from the car.

“But you don’t realise at first it’s only because he has so much talent. So you keep going in this direction but you go too far and it takes you a few months to come back from that and realise you’d gone in the wrong direction.

“The system is so big that to rethink the aero surfaces of the car and remake them, it was a long and painful process.
Very interesting. Something similar has also been said in the past about drivers like Alonso who have the ability to drive around problems, which makes it more difficult to recognise what these problems are. In a way, they are too good for their own good. AM then said that's why Lance's feedback was important (which may be PR, but considering Checo was right, it makes some sense).

that was the reason alonso was saying they needed lance back with his broken wrist last year in testing.

Has anyone ever heard a Lance giving a feedback ? He never, ever provides feedback. After the last qualifying, he was asked three questions, none of which he responded to. Look at Piastri, Leclerc, and so on. They demonstrate a deep comprehension of the car's behavior following FP, Qualy, or the race.

All we ever heard in terms of feedback is :"tricky week-end," "hard to drive," "good sessions," and "we will see."

Nothing against him and we know that Lance is capable of finishing on the podium or even fight for pole and wins when he has a fast car like the pink merceds at racing one team, but It's difficult to say if he develops more in the f1 debriefing room with the engineers.

Look how much the mclaren's rear wing flex in high speed too. Front wing can be flexible? ohh OK now we have the rear wing flexible. Has anyone ever seen this

You was right, it is like a mini DRS as the instagram post is saying.

It is like red bull 2021 flex wing and the FIA at the time banned it so they should do the same

This is why Leclerc with DRS couldn’t pass Piastri
It's likely that you was unable to notice it or comprehend it but following Red Bull's complaint, the MCL38's flap edges are not permitted to bend on the straight.

McLaren will be forced to modify their rear wing even if they passed static tests.

Feed back would given in the debrief with the team after whatever session.

Alonso pitted after his first hotlap on softs and had them add .4 to the front wing. His 2nd hotlap was better but obviously on used tires.

To me Lance just looks like he hates doing interviews and press conferences, but they force them to do them, so he gives as little and unenthusiastic responses as he can. I am sure he is different when he explains how the car behaves behind closed doors, since he benefits from it if they understand what he says.

I'm sure it doesn't help to want to do interviews when you're always getting beat by your team mate. That can get old...." So lance what happened this time? "

At the moment it seems Q3 will be very difficult if nothing changes.
