It's now all but confirmed that Since Perez for the first time will be running the exact same parts Like for like Since Imola (Mainly due to the crash in Monaco (where he still qualified out in Q1 when he had the exact car as Max, but Max struggled to make it as well). Although the teams mentioned many times the difference is not that big (which Perez himself proved with the car he had in Baku). This could be Perez final chance to show if he can drive well. The replaced chassis has already proved to make a huge difference to Perez's Race Pace wise. But this is really his final chance. If Perez can't find pace in Las Vegas. He is 50% out at 2025, 50% cause Lawson is proving to be not that much better than Tsunoda and the 2026 cars will Suit the Understeery driving style that Perez Excels at.
Perez didn't get a "new" chassis. He was given a previously used one for Brazil.

sainz is winning because he had a good car probably fastest depending on track ,on sunday during rain he was rubbish and got outqualified by many driver in slower cars including yuki and lawson.
What a ridiculous statement. Sainz is not one of the absolute best drivers on the grid but he's certainly above average. If the choices are Sainz or Perez, unless the team doesn't give a crap about the WCC, they should pick Sainz. There's a reason he has almost double Perez's points. And while Sainz can be crash prone, he's no more crash prone than Perez is lol!

IMO Red Bull might have been worried about Sainz not being a team player. There is no way Sainz would roll over and be Verstappen's guard dog. If he has a chance for a win, he will go for it, even at the cost of Verstappen's race. Maybe this isn't the mentality Red Bull wanted.
You forget. Money make companies take decisions different. The wcc is about money, but if there somehow come more from having a specific driver... Then it makes sense why he is kept on.

I am repeating myself, but this is what I said a pager before:
Sainz is too good for being a 2nd driver next to Max, so it will cost WDC points which is what RB+Max do not want. They do not want the team dynamics of Ham + Ros, or Nor + Pia
Plus the father issue
Plus the money issue

Tsunoda and Lawson could be better number 2s, but they seem to be too individually focused, too crash-prone, too stubborn to be that nr 2 based on what we see in their race behaviour
Plus they don't bring the money

Leaves Colapinto who is willing to be the number 2 as he would not have a drive otherwise
Plus brings South-American money

there is no truth in the possibility of Sainz going to Red Bull?

Horner: "Sainz? No, Carlos is committed to Williams and is not part of our plans in 2025."

yuki has not retired from any race due to self inflicted crash for the whole year. Stroll and albon crushed into him ,those are crash prone drivers. Perception is not reality mistake made in his first year as a rookie has been addressed

MV: Yeah, well, I mean, of course, that was important. I wanted to, of course, win a bit sooner. But yeah, it's been tough for us. We always kept pushing. We didn't really understand why the others were so fast in the race, especially. Yeah, I've been trying a lot of things to improve the car. And I mean, starting P17 this morning, didn't look like we were going to win the race again. So yeah, it's an incredible result for us. A massive boost for the team, because honestly, it's been tough. But it is also a big strength of the team to stay calm and just try to work on performance and try to improve our situation. And I'm confident. I'm confident for the last three races that we can fight again, and especially in the race that we will be more competitive.
Why? What does he know that we do not?
It could also be adrenaline and euforia speaking, after that legendary performance.

I would guess a little of that. And not I think a lot of the pressure of the WDC has been taken away. He can relax a little more now. I think he was always more then likely to win it but the one DNF or bad result for him really put the pressure on.

1 qualifying in mexico because because they change his setup between quali and practice and upset the normal balance of car.the other crash was in Hungary but that was due to poor design of Kerbs which launched the car into air nothing to do with driver

Sergio Perez to stay with Red Bull for 2025 F1 season
According to MARCA, Horner's team has recently given the green light to the Mexican's new sponsors for next year.

...

According to MARCA, Perez even has new sponsors for 2025, some of them very powerful, in addition to those he already has, and Red Bull has given him the go-ahead to start making clothes and merchandising products recently, a type of agreement that must already have production in advance and has received all the approvals from the team's economic team, after going through Horner, of course.

The owners of this team don't care about Formula 1. What a disappointment for their engineers, mechanics, and other staff who are working hard on the car. They're trying to win the WCC, meanwhile the people above them have decided to go all-in on a driver who can barely even get into the points anymore.

They need cash for their engine program, and other stuff. They are milking him dry. I wonder how much money is he able to bring. I guess much more than they are losing by being third in constructors. + they dont need to pay him any bonuses since he aint achieving results.
If i would get the money to start my own F1 team, i would revive Arrows

And so, the RBR organisation and it's associated upper level of support business, has rescued Jaguar F1 & Minardi from slow, painful and sclerotic failure, supplied many drivers a chance to get into F1, gained numerous championship in driver's and constructors positions, rescued Perez career after Stroll properly rodgered him with contract still remaining, gave a big and loyal fan base in Mexico a driver to follow and watch win some grand prix ..........

Nooooo, I can't see what they've done for F1 either

Shonky, useless, non committed bunch of slackers :D

They need to buck up, pull their finger out and make something of a valuable contribution to this sport.

I guess some on here could send in their resume, to then crank it up a bit and chase that success down for the benefit of all in that organisation.

Yeah those stinky slackers infected the drivers line up with the inwash of young kids in F1.
Every team now wants one so called potential WDC
It’s a shame, I even understand 1 driver get an age dispensation cause he’s to young….
Isn’t there a valid reason for an age limit or not?

…or was it British passport or not :(

Max's 2025 teammate is likely to be a non-European driver, perhaps due to RB energy drinks branding strategy
