Well based on final Test times it looks like the top 3 teams for 2010 are MacMerc, RedBull & Ferrari!
Damn it's gonna be a good season!
Minimum weight for the cars is up up by 10kg? this year, then there are the narrower front tyres and i guess with 3 practice sessions to rubber in the track last year before Q2, the 2009 cars should be a little faster, but it looks close.godlameroso wrote:Last year's Q3 Pole lap was a 1:20.527, that was on a two stopper, if this is the best they can do running on fumes then they succeeded in slowing the cars down a bit.
The only driver to get under 1:20 was Barichello during Q2, also he had the fastest lap of the race a 1:22.762
Yes. Bold. Very much so.Giblet wrote:n smikle wrote:The Boss has dropped the gavel. Court adjourned!
Had to fix that for you.
You can sorta add the extra 20kg and put the time of year as a factor somewhat. I have no clue how you would do it though.godlameroso wrote:Last year's Q3 Pole lap was a 1:20.527, that was on a two stopper, if this is the best they can do running on fumes then they succeeded in slowing the cars down a bit.

Check your Test 2 (Jerez I) lap count as well:ESPImperium wrote:
My Massa figures:
Test 1: Distance: 905.130 Laps: 226 @ 4.005 Km a lap
Test 2: Distance: 960.876 Laps: 217 @ 4.428 Km a lap
Test 3: Distance: 726.192 Laps: 164 @ 4.428 Km a lap
Test 4: Distance: 1,068.285 Laps: 229 @ 4.665 Km a lap
I think its my Barcelona lap distance that is the difference.
Checked. Is accurate. But i typoed there. I quoted Alonso by mistake., here is my Massa Test 2:Pedro wrote:Check your Test 2 (Jerez I) lap count as well:ESPImperium wrote:

Massa covered 232 instead of 217 laps.
OK. The problem is length of the lap then.ESPImperium wrote:Checked. Is accurate. But i typoed there. I quoted Alonso by mistake., here is my Massa Test 2:Pedro wrote:Check your Test 2 (Jerez I) lap count as well:ESPImperium wrote:

nice shot of 'the boss' from 3:33 to 3:38, doing what he does best (driving incredibly slowly)...the boss is dead, long live THE HAUS!! (Vettel)ringo wrote:

No driver can extraxt more than 100% from the car, Not Senna, nor MS nor THE BOSS.ringo wrote:Only Button can show the true pace of the Mclaren. Hamilton will make the car look better than it actually is. The competition is looking pretty tight, but that is when driver ability comes through.
