It's just not Vettel's year, this is Webber's year and he's somehow managed to pass on his previous bad luck to Vettel!
Passing one's bad luck to one's teammate is never polite [-X (just kidding )

I wouldnt call Turkey or Hungary badluck for Vettel. Id call that bad driving on both accounts.

As for Spa, I reckon it will be an interestign one. Mclaren will have the straightline advantage but will it make up for the lack of speed through the corners?

Should be a close battle between all 3 top teams.

Well bad luck or whatever it is, it's over now. What Vettel fans (including myself) should be thinking of is how to bounce back in the last 7 races of the season. In the meantime... I think this is another race that Webber is targeting. He's already said that he wanted the "blue riband" events... and he has Silverstone and Monaco already. I wonder if Virgin/HRT/Lotus will announce a one-race deal for Kimi Raikkonen and he majestically wins on his favorite circuit

I agree. If someone like Alonso or Hamilton were in that RB6, the championship would be over by now.

Not if it keeps on breaking down like it does on Vettel. I reckon Vettel would be leading were it not for his reliability issues. Australia and Bahrain alone cost him 38 points (25 for Australia, 13 for Bahrain). And there's more to count. But this thread is about Spa, not the championship. So yeah

Everyone has suffered failures and situations where they should have scored way more points than they did, not just the Red Bulls. But yeah, back to Spa. Will be interesting to see how each team does with new upgrades. Would be funny if Red Bull's wing doesn't pass the new tests since they seem to think it will. If that happens, they might actually have a race where they aren't insanely fast.

It's a bit funny how some people assume RBR wing might not pass the test. Despite what Horner & Co are saying, the methodology is described in the rules and they have the attachment used to apply force as it is their duty to supply one to the scrutineers. So I can't see any problem testing their wing before they send the cars there. Like in fact every other team does.
It'll be really interesting if they bring a much stiffer wing, pass the tests and still be ahead of the rest speedwise.

how can they bring more than one wing? that would imply to have them all scrutineered ,right?

I can't see any problem bringing different wings. All teams do it already and test them during Friday sessions.

Here's a pic of the Belgium F1 GP from 1979

I see they solved the problem of cutting the corner by placing sharp sticks in the way. More of that please! =D>

 Catch fencing. Horrible stuff!
