Jaime Alguersuari has been given a 20 second penalty following the stewards review of lap 42 from the Belgian Grand Prix. The Spaniard is accused of cutting the final chicane and gaining a position from Vitantonio Liuzzi. This promotes Liuzzi into 10th, and into the points, while demoting Alguersuari back to 13th.
Welcome to FP3. I expect that teams will not use any new intermediates. They only have three sets for the weekend and most have trashed one already yesterday. It looks like the inters are only good for 5 laps anyway. This is madness IMO. They should be more durable or drivers should get more sets tyres.
Track is almost dry and Senna does a demo lap on slicks with team radio running all lap for comment.
FOM's camera ballon. More cost efficient than an helicopter for sure.
The track is still damp and the white lines are extremely slippery. They are not done in the special paint that is giving high grip. So some teams are waiting for a drier track.
Schumacher through Pouhon. The F-duct is now knee operated it appears. According to team radio it is working but MSC does not use the hand.

Formula One's fundamental ethos is about success coming to those with the most ingenious engineering and best ..............................organization, not to those with the biggest budget. (Dave Richards)
Vettel runs out of gas while it begins to rain. Webber will post the fastest time. Vettel was held up behind traffic from Kobayashi. He did not get a clear lap for his qualifying simulation.
Webber gets almost stuck behind his team mate but manages to pass in the narrow pit entry.

I missed Vettel slowing in the pitlane, but I caught the end of practice though. The commentators were saying that he was told to cut the engine in 1st gear rather than in neutral which is unusual. Possibly and oil pressure problem, but still to be confirmed.
