Sauber happy with Engine supply? It was never communicated if all those failures were Ferrari responsibility.they had appalling reliability never heard before off since joining f1..
Personally, i think it is the fact that Sauber have compromised so much on the installation of the Ferarri 056 that the car is actually better suited to its intended engine the BMW P86/9. Liken it to the Brawn BGP001, it hit it lucky with the Mercedes FO108W that it wasnt too much of a compromise, probably arround 03 of a second of a compromise per lap in reality. But if the BGP001 had the RA809 engine in it it would have been much more faster in reality.

I think the C29 is compromised in its cooling and demands on the 056 in reality. Maybes if BMW could have supplied engines for one more year it would have been better for the package. But we saw last year that both BMWs had problems as well, Heidfeld used 9 blocks and Kubica had used 5 blocks for Silverstone. And the C29 has DNA in the F1.09. I sence a potential packageing issue. James Key should solve it all for 2011 i think.

They brought it on themselves with their public flogging of the rules for their own gain.

You are going to need thicker skin to hang here and be an Alonso fan I am afraid. :)

Key is key ..that guy looks like messias at the moment..I wonder what willy Rampf is thinking at this time..
He was co-commentator during FP1and2 in german TV.unfortunatelly the questions avoided
that very topic mysteriously.....
But the insight was quite revealing with intern frictions drivers and engineers.....decision process etc..splitting chances pro and con..
And he admitted to missing racing and did not rule out to come back into the sport..hear, hear...

They said on Greek TV that Alonso was using hard and not soft tire for his first attempt in Q3 to save the soft one for later. True?

The Spanish press reported that. Hards on the first attempt since he only had one set of softs. And he could not benefit from the softs due to the water. Still, 40 seconds later others made decent laps in the same softs and Alonso was still one second off. There was more to that than tyres.

First 30 min free from rain as the commentators claimed.

From Kubica's Team Radio - heavy rain in 8 minutes.

The first 5 cars going straight on was pretty funny!

Alonso got whacked by Barrichello and is last. Ferrari pitwall to Alonso if Massa ends up lapping him: "Right, erm, Fileppe ... is ... faster ... than ... you. Do ... you ... understand?"

Looks like Vettel is being investigated for passing Kubica on the Kemmel straight on the grass. Arguably a racing incident as Vettel would have been unsighted and Kubica was taking his line.

I take it the safety car was for the rain?
