Webber and Bob had a good solid drive, Hamilton drove a stormer, but a flawed one. Mercedes batteling well, Vettel tooh himself and Button out of it, and Alonso took himelf out of it now as well. Quiet man Sutil drove a good race race, Saubers drove to good finishes as well. Petrov gave no quater and is proving he has race craft, but is flawed in Quali, and Alguersauri gave a good account, could have made better calls, but the guy is learning.

Confused but defo one of the best races of they year.

Shame about Vettel. He was clearly the fastest behind an strangely slow Button. Brakes caught him out it seems - just one of those things.

Good drive for Schumacher. Makes me wonder if it wasn't for the draconian 10 place penalty where he could have finished.

I would like to extend my congratulations to Barrichello. A really amazing 300th race! =D>

I wonder what Vettel's race engineer told him about the first rain. Seb was caught out by Button braking earlier than he expected. He should have been told half a minute before the end of the lap that Bus Stop was completely wet. Did he not listen to his engineer or did the engineer not tell him?

Then they put him on full wet which were destroyed in one lap which was again a very poor call. The two do not seem to get on very well.

Was his visor not getting wet on the way there? He could see rooster tails off of Button's car, and should have been more cautious, and less racy then he was.

I hope he matures into a good racer. His raw pace is unquestionable.

He's still very young for a driver in a leading car and has a lot to learn. Pleanty drivers were manic when they were younger and have matured into some of the best.

Good win for THE BOSS 8)

poor Button, victim of Vettel's "overtaking skills". Though it was an honest mistake from him.
Webber showed him how it's done time and time again, Vettel is not champion material this year. He's not ready.

Alonso FAIL, that's all i have to say about him. Massa was by far the better driver for the weekend.

This race sucked if you ask me. Why? Because a Ferrari didn't win. Later

To me it looked alot like Webber's Valencia incident actually. If you watch http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wDSo2q2Bpko#t=1m27s, you'll see his front wing starting to wobble alot as soon as he gets into the wake of the McLaren.

Actually, Kubica threw away second by messing up his pit stop. So everyone in your list messed up in some way or other. Of those, only Hamilton and Webber made mistakes and made then maximised their results afterwards. Hamilton did it by being quicker than everyone else so that he had a sufficient cushion to go for a drive around in the gravel without losing a place. Webber did it by getting his head down and being an adult - he drove the RB as fast as he could in the conditions and put good pressure on Kubica.

So your comment should really be: Good job Kubica, Webber and Hamilton. Alonso and Vettel messed up.

Can I also say great recovery by Petrov - including a very assured overtake on Rosberg I think it was early in the race. Almost makes up for yesterday's rookie error.

I wondered if you'd blame someone other than Vettel for his "drop"...

Is Vettel incapable of making a mistake in your eyes? [-X

But when he does have a car that is capable of winning the championship, he drives like a complete idiot, ruining others' race in the process. I think the past two years has shown that Vettel can handle the pressure, and unless he can improve in that area he will never be a world champion.
To me Vettel is still one of the most talented, but somehow he is corrupted by the power of the RB6. The car has so much speed, he has the freedom to do whatever he wants on track, and unfortunately that means riding behind the gearbox of other cars and trying to pass at some of the worst times possible.
