If I were a betting man, I'd say Vettel/Webber/Alonso...

I'm going with Vettel for this weekend. I feel like he'll finally get it together and he'll produce a performance like last year's.

The esses and the Dunlop curve are really the only place the rb6 has an advantage
which first corner in Hockenheim is like Degner? I´m sure those two circuits have not much in common...
Hockenheim is up and down with an amplitude of not even 5 m I´d guess...

The Degners are really a lot more like the Lesmos, don't you think?

I think the Degner 1 corner you are approaching from Dunlop in 7th gear at 175mph, then you shift down 3 gears breaking 70M before Degner 1, then quick shift up one gear and then down from 5th to 3rd gear for Degner 2, approaching from 130mph, breaking about 40M before the corner.

Personally the Degners are more like the Lesmos, but closer together and a completly diffrent atitude, Degner 1 just wants to spit you off and Degner 2 just wants to eat you up if you get Degner 1 wrong and wants to suck you off if you attack it too aggressivly.

FP1 starts in 5 minutes. At the moment the track is dry air temp is 23°C and track temp is 29°C.

Suzuka has a new media facility for the commentators. The drivers still criticize the safety.

At the moment we see only installation laps.

Some Vettel screen shots in the esses.

Car bottomed out it seems. But no matter.. That is what happens when the driver's psyche is stronger than the limits of the car... He will still get pole though.. Fastest sector 1, that is good news.
