Notably, barrichello was in exactly the same position when schumacher started the squeeze.

Do it to BAR you get a penalty; do it to HAM... well, we don't know yet, but I would bet the FIA will see it as HAM's fault.

1) It wasn't the tip of his wing – it was his whole front wing, his whole front wheels, and a chunk of the rest of the nose.
2) there was significant amounts of the straight still remaining, and HAM was going significantly faster – he would have been side by side into the corner, if not ahead already.
3) Button had plenty of time to not push HAM off the track, he just refused to give some room.

Like the Schumacher v Barrichello incident, the driver behind failed completely to see that the driver ahead was making a move to close the gap.

If the driver behind had used a bit of brain power, they would have realised that the driver ahead had made their one legal move and would not be able to defend against someone going down their other side.

By that point it was too late and he probably would have lost control if he'd lifted. He was already having to countersteer due to his wheel being on the grass.
then maybe he should have taken a different line to start with.

hell im pretty sure I would not have seen a Truck at that point in my street car with big mirrors Button had no idea he was there.

just give up. Button was staring on Hamilton in the mirror.
so you can see his eyes in the mirror your TV must be way better than mine go wave your hammy flag somewhere else we are all tired of it.

You think that it was possible to
1) Scrub off a bunch of speed on the grass without spinning
2) change sides, once you've scrubbed off speed and are now going slower than your oposition.
3) Then magically make the engine work harder than anyone else's and drive down the outside

You're mad.

Why not? They're very similar.

Yes, with hindsight, Hamilton should have gone to the right. However Jenson was in the centre of the track and defending to the right when he chose to take the line to the left. This would have set him up for the inside into turn 1.

Either way though, Jenson shouldn't have run him off the track.

Button moved twice.
Again you have no justification, post the regulations about running another driver off the track.
Everything else you say is clap trap, not in the regs.

you missed the point if I have to give the driver behind all the room in the world for a front wheel why not just a wing tip

hamilton had no chance of making it button would have put him wide anyway.

Hamilton had plenty of time to lift.

Look Button took to an aggressive defence to close the door on the inside, Lewis wanted the inside of turn one so went for it anyway. Button got the car far enough across to make it impossible but Hamilton was committed and it went wrong. I'm certain Button was defending the inside line to turn one to make up for his mistake at the final turn. Lewis wanted it too but ran out of room to make the move definitive. So it's a racing incident.

Because Hungary doesn't have a fast right on the main straight and MS wasn't using the racing line?
