Do it to BAR you get a penalty; do it to HAM... well, we don't know yet, but I would bet the FIA will see it as HAM's fault.
1) It wasn't the tip of his wing – it was his whole front wing, his whole front wheels, and a chunk of the rest of the nose.flynfrog wrote:so if I put the tip of my wing where there is no chance I can make it stick you have to give me room? Hamilton had plenty of time not to run off the track he just refused to lift
Like the Schumacher v Barrichello incident, the driver behind failed completely to see that the driver ahead was making a move to close the gap.beelsebob wrote:

so you can see his eyes in the mirror your TV must be way better than mine go wave your hammy flag somewhere else we are all tired of it.ringo wrote:then maybe he should have taken a different line to start with.flynfrog wrote:By that point it was too late and he probably would have lost control if he'd lifted. hell im pretty sure I would not have seen a Truck at that point in my street car with big mirrors Button had no idea he was there.
just give up. Button was staring on Hamilton in the mirror.
You think that it was possible toandrew wrote:Like the Schumacher v Barrichello incident, the driver behind failed completely to see that the driver ahead was making a move to close the gap.beelsebob wrote:

If the driver behind had used a bit of brain power, they would have realised that the driver ahead had made their one legal move and would not be able to defend against someone going down their other side.
Why not? They're very similar.FrukostScones wrote:you can't compare the two incidents!
Yes, with hindsight, Hamilton should have gone to the right. However Jenson was in the centre of the track and defending to the right when he chose to take the line to the left. This would have set him up for the inside into turn 1.flynfrog wrote:then maybe he should have taken a different line to start with.myurr wrote:By that point it was too late and he probably would have lost control if he'd lifted. Button moved twice.andrew wrote:Like the Schumacher v Barrichello incident, the driver behind failed completely to see that the driver ahead was making a move to close the gap.beelsebob wrote:

you missed the point if I have to give the driver behind all the room in the world for a front wheel why not just a wing tipbeelsebob wrote:1) It wasn't the tip of his wing – it was his whole front wing, his whole front wheels, and a chunk of the rest of the nose.flynfrog wrote:so if I put the tip of my wing where there is no chance I can make it stick you have to give me room? 2) there was significant amounts of the straight still remaining, and HAM was going significantly faster – he would have been side by side into the corner, if not ahead already.
3) Button had plenty of time to not push HAM off the track, he just refused to give some room.
Because Hungary doesn't have a fast right on the main straight and MS wasn't using the racing line?beelsebob wrote:Why not? They're very similar.FrukostScones wrote:you can't compare the two incidents!
