He was pushing to the end though, closed the gap to 1.7. makes me wonder what would have happened if those williams hadnt held him up.raymondu999 wrote:How would they know? I think Button thought, "last lap, I'm not catching him enough, let's cruise ad bring it home"
The man's had a frustrating season. that scrap at monaco, the fact that he has yet to be on the podium this year, always scrapping it out with the mercs... What he did was out of line, and this doesn't make it right, but consider the whole picture. There was plenty of buildup leading into that ridiculous incident.ringo wrote: Massa's a sore loser. After Hamilton got the drive through and went round with a broken wing, Massa still gets beaten.
Yet he tries to get the guy to fight him.
As to the msc's dabbling in aviation;
he was very close to perez in a short straight (the braking point was very close) and it probably would have required inhuman reflexes to not run into him if you dont back off and brake very early. He had room on either side as well, there just wasnt really enough time to move the car over there. Schumacher pushed hard, put himself in a bad situation, refused to back out and well... we all saw what happened. Easy to see now, but having fractions of a second to make that decision while baking in the car and trying to manage traction all at once is a tall order.
