Comments on german websites (news, sports, and motorsports) are full of them, they'll come here sooner or later, as well as those who will try to prove that Rosberg is really really unlucky compared to LewisCHT wrote:The lack of conspiracy theory about why Nico car suffer DNF?
Yup.SectorOne wrote: Kinda hoping they win two each. It will be the best finale in F1 history if they have no issues and start on the front row literally fighting for the championship.
I dont think so it will be the best finale because this race is between team mates with 2 superior cars and a abnormal double point finale.SectorOne wrote:Now that the championship is wide open again here´s some outcomes,
Hamilton wins the next four races, Rosberg comes home 2nd.
Rosberg wins Abu Dhabi and Hamilton only needs to take a 5th place in the race to win by 1 point.
Hamilton wins the next three races, Rosberg wins the 4th.
Rosberg wins Abu Dhabi and Hamilton needs to come home in 2nd to win by 3 points.
Hamilton wins the next two races, Rosberg the two after that, both come second in their teammates wins.
Whoever wins Abu Dhabi is champion.

I did briefly have the "I wonder if Toto is behind this" thought but I don't think so anymore than I think Toto was behind Hamilton's Aussie electrical issues. It's not in Mercedes's interests to have a car fail to finish.CHT wrote:The lack of conspiracy theory about why Nico car suffer DNF?
It'll be a big issue precisely because there are two drivers in the same superior car and each will be free to fight and free to win. Winner takes all. Something we haven't seen in F1 for some years, sadly.CHT wrote:

Which has been the story of Ricciardo's success so far. Here, with all things equal, the 4 time champion demonstrated to the new bee how to bear through pressure and retain place.
Actually, the SC was the only thing which gave them half a chance to beat Mercedes.Safety car screwed up both Ferrari and RBR strategy.
: )
That's not quite true. The gap is currently 174 points. Right now there are 215 points to play for. They could score 25 points in Suzuka with a 3rd and a 5th with Red Bull scoring the full 43 and the championship would still be open. Assuming Red Bull gets 1-2 every race from now, Merc needs 41 points to win the championship by virtue of winning more races.SectorOne wrote:WCC battle.
Mercedes needs 24 more points and they will have locked up the championship.
So basically it will happen in Suzuka given a normal race weekend.
