Does anybody have some infos on Lotus and Sauber for instance. I only read how great Mercedes looks, how good Ferrari is how they closed the gap on Mercedes. How Mclaren is awesome just because has Honda engine even if they have problems. How Williams and Red Bull will fight with Mercedes along Ferrari. Not a single little word about Lotus or Sauber. Even if it's beginning of season Sky Sport and their media already started pissing me off.

Raikkonen was crusing on the finish line.
No time of day recorded?
No lap no. recorded?
where was Vmax measured?
Where is sector 3?
What is being measured? max speed in a sector? or average sector speed? where does Vmax then fit in?

Is this info reliable?

It is. I believe, it's time to start attaching bags of sand to that Ferrari, and while they are at it, they need to force Sauber in doing the same.
If you're going to take those speeds as being representative of their performance, Maldonado is looking like a possible champion!

Pre-season, please calm down, no top team will show their real pace, while mid-fielders are running a bluff to impress posible sponsors

Actually just first test of pre-seasson....

PS: Ferrari should be considered a mid-fielder, 4th team who recogniced this season will be difficult for them

Weird that Nasr is so fast at the finish line yet nothing special at the end of the straight.

So you think Ferrari is looking for a new sponsor? I don't know if they are as good as they are showing, but seems that they are better then last year. If Ferrari is the 4th team, Mclaren will be the 9th from what i see.

I don't trust this unverified "speed trap" info, none of the times really add up, looks like some over exited fan's thumb suck.

2015 will be less difficult than 2014. They do not have ball and chain Alonso

One of the most interesting things I've heard is nasr saying there's not much difference between 2015 Ferrari pu and 2014 Mercedes (in the Williams he drove in practices).

You'd hope from Ferrari 's perspective that it's a little bit up on last year's Mercedes but does seem to imply they've overcome the problems they had, which can only be good for competition.

It's not just Raikkonen. Vettel's max speed at finish line was also more than 20kmh slower than Nasr's even though he set the fastest time of the week so far.

They might be running a lot more wing, I guess.

@giantfan10
im sure your find the 2007 was very much a Schumacher car, built and designed with him in the team in 2006, then the guy never really left for a fewbyears. The 2008 car had the same DNA as the 07 car so arguably still smelt of Schumacher. New rules in 09, no schumacher, the team stinks ever since. Simple

anyway forget it, back to testing as this thread is for.
