Speed Traps for McLaren don't really count because the Engine doesn't run at full Power yet.

True, so we should expect he will improve the 12th position he did in 2014..... Top 10 maybe? :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

So now we have a 2014 FI going fastest yet. Just to show how much conclusions you can draw out of testing times.

if it was a qualy sim (3 laps he did) it's kind of very informative, MAL did 9 laps yesterday and posted quasi same time on same tyres

I think Merc can do a 1.24.0 on softs here maybe 1.23.5 (or ever faster?)
Finishing races is important, but racing is more important.

Oh yeah! :oops:

Still...he did set the 2nd fastest lap of that race (faster than Vettel) and was a bit unlucky with a stewards decision in Japan when running in an impressive 6th. Not to mention being a 3 time CHAMP car champion.

Anyway, my point was that, before we've seen enough of this year's drivers to properly judge, Vettel/Bourdais combo was my favourite Toro Rosso lineup.

They were the best lineup without a doubt.

Only a fool would think that RB, McLaren & Ferrari don't have the resources to compete with Mercedes AMG F1. They definitely are not untouchable as many die hard fans would like to believe. 2015 will be a tough season for them we are already starting to see a trend developing in testing, and it will be carried into the season.
Errr wait. I havent said this, I have said that Mercedes is nowadays and much powerful team in every single aspect than Brawn GP was the fall of 2009.

And if they have done its job and they have improved the chasis and engine, they should win the WC again. Not perhaps so easily but they should do it.

By the way, 21 laps for Alonso, now its time for another failure. (I hope not). :mrgreen:

I am super positive, perhaps eight. :mrgreen:

Now seriously, I hope to see them 4/5, but there is so much competence!!

It seems Ferrari can do hot laps in a row.

That will probably be one of their biggest gains in the race, if it turns out that way.

Anyone know of anywhere we can get a clear picture of what laps were done on what tyres? The commentary often tells you but not always... :(

the colored circle is for the last compound used:

red = ss
yellow = soft
white = medium
orange = hard
grey = winter hard
blu = intermediate
green = full wet

well I seriously hope the cars can go a lot faster than that if Sergio Perez can do a 1:24.7 in a 2014 force India

it's not a big mistake, but:

green = intermediate
blue = full wet
