LookBackTime wrote:14:18 Consistent 1m30s for the Lotus and Williams. We don't know fuel loads of course, but it's an impressive pace on the hard tyre by Bottas. (Autosport)
14:14 Grosjean's on the mediums. His and Bottas' laptimes last time round were 0.010s apart - in favour of the Williams. (Autosport)
Are mediums faster than hard tires or reverse? T
1:1: mediums faster, apart maybe from later stages of longer stints (degradation), temperature and pace control (longer stint slower pace).
15:31 Grosjean flies to top spot on soft tyres with a 1m24.681s.
15:34 Great lap from Grosjean, only 0.3s shy of where Maldonado was yesterday on the red-walled Pirelli
So if we take prediction Lotus is behind Williams (at least in pace over long stint), Mercedes, Red Bull, and Ferrari. We could see 1:23:xxx times.

Vettel is taking a dump apparently hasn't finished though....having issues with bowl pressure...testing issues.... better now then in Melbourne..
Official Ferrari statement.
Irvine:"If you don't have a good car you can't win it, unless you are Michael or Senna. Lots of guys won in Adrian Newey's cars, big deal. Adrian is the real genius out there, there is Senna, there is Michael and there is Newey. They were the three great talents."
16:14 That is seriously quick from Rosberg. He goes second on a 1m24.584s, and he is indeed on mediums.
wow
I think we have champion this season in Mercedes again.

And he didn't pit after 3 laps...omg Mercedes what kind of beast have you build! 6 lap run on mediums and still a 1.24.584....And we have a WINNER =D>

Rai in first day made 1m25.1s with medium, if the gap is only half a second the sweetest dream of tifosi actually come true..
"I will miss Gilles for two reasons. First, he was the fastest driver in the history of motor racing. Second, he was the most genuine man I have ever known. But he has not gone. The memory of what he has done, what he achieved, will always be there." J. Scheckter

Kimi did. 25.1 on mediums three days ago, and presumably the track's a bit more rubbered in now. Given that we're all pretty much expecting Mercedes to still be faster than Ferrari, this kind of time is surely to be expected?

Do you have the laptimes? Otherwise you can't say anything about the stint.
