i'm pretty sure no other team has went out and did a one lap qualy run then went back into the pits..Pretty sure several other teams have done low fuel qually runs actually.
How dare you! I'm an honest man.dren wrote:lmao! You jinxed it turbo.
As for Mercedes, I'd say they are a few tenths faster than Willams. But typically Mercedes runs with a good amount of fuel, so I'd expect they can go a bit quicker.
Where do you expect Sauber to be, three seconds behind? They had decent times in Jerez and their long runs here looked decent too. It's Barcelona, a track they know inside out and field should be tighter in 2015. Plus as always they should be closer to final specification than Merc at this stage, you can add tenths for that. What Chandhok says makes sense in a positive spin type of way.SpecialCircumstances wrote:I'm really confused, why are people so impressed/surprised by Rosberg doing a 22.8 on softs when freaking Nasr has done a 24.0? Because the Merc being a second faster than a rookie in what might be the slowest car of the grid is a surprise somehow?
Really, who'd you throw in 2nd, Ferrari or Red Bull? And I agree, I'm expecting them to take pole by half a second at the most.turbof1 wrote:How dare you! I'm an honest man.dren wrote:lmao! You jinxed it turbo.

Just you wait, I first have some seals to hide, but after I done that i'll give ya a whooping.
Anyway, I don't remember Mercedes ever being 1s ahead in qualifying last year. If I may dare to give naughty suggestions, my opinion is that they have a 3-5 tenths on the second fastest car, and it's not Williams I believe.
Don't take my word for it, it's really a hunch and nothing more, but I think Red Bull yes, admittingly very closely followed by ferrari and williams.dren wrote:Really, who'd you throw in 2nd, Ferrari or Red Bull?
