5 laps run for Vet vs 13 for Bottas...
Vettel's tires where 6 laps older though.
Maybe Ferrari turned something down after the fault they had on Leclercs car at Bahrain?Schuttelberg wrote: ↑12 Apr 2019, 12:43So, Mercedes sets the fastest time of the weekend thus far and yet Ferrari's are fastest?
Seems like a narrative I've heard of before. Mercedes and Toto fan boys setting up a heist about how they've won a race without the fastest car.
Schuttelberg wrote: ↑12 Apr 2019, 09:50I love it when the Ferrari is ahead by a couple of tenths and everyone is like "my god they're in god mode.. their engine is so powerful." Yet, when the Mercedes is ahead by over half a second, there's always a reason why it's an anomaly.
It is only you posting such things... maybe you need to relax and enjoy the raceSchuttelberg wrote: ↑12 Apr 2019, 12:43So, Mercedes sets the fastest time of the weekend thus far and yet Ferrari's are fastest?

What does 'power limited' mean?ferkan wrote: ↑12 Apr 2019, 14:10Gap to Merc from Albert Fabrega. Really weird graph...I mean, maybe Merc is running slightly less DF and MF's are running more, but Ferrari is just complete outlier.

Mercedes having the lowest overall lap time are the reference. It would make more sense to me showing the best team at each type of corner as 0 and all the others with positive values.subcritical71 wrote: ↑12 Apr 2019, 14:12What does 'power limited' mean?ferkan wrote: ↑12 Apr 2019, 14:10Gap to Merc from Albert Fabrega. It's not him, we have a lot of new people posting uninformed comments all over the place.siskue2005 wrote: ↑12 Apr 2019, 14:12Schuttelberg wrote: ↑12 Apr 2019, 09:50I love it when the Ferrari is ahead by a couple of tenths and everyone is like "my god they're in god mode.. their engine is so powerful." The Ferrari was fastest race day car at the last race, what reason would we have to believe that's changed? I mean... Mercedes did actually win the last race without the fastest car... it broke down... it was a FerrariSchuttelberg wrote: ↑12 Apr 2019, 12:43So, Mercedes sets the fastest time of the weekend thus far and yet Ferrari's are fastest?

How it makes sense when Bottas was fastest in FP2 though?richardn wrote: ↑12 Apr 2019, 14:27Mercedes having the lowest overall lap time are the reference. I'd guess 'power limited' is a straight or slight kink you can power through without braking. Ferrari faster than Mercedes everywhere except high speed corners.
Could it be the best of each sectors?richardn wrote: ↑12 Apr 2019, 14:52
It doesn't make much sense. I can understand classifying sections of the track in those categories, then looking at the sectional times over those sections for each car. With that graph Ferrari should be ahead. Maybe the graph isn't of the fastest lap for each car, but an average?
