Didn’t every Ferrari powered car take their allocated 2nd CE after it failed for LeClerc and caused him to lose a race win early on this year which they then had to fix? I said at the time that it was a long old season to just have the (then) new 1 left.
Yes they did. Looked like there was a flaw in all 6 units.Restomaniac wrote: ↑28 Jul 2019, 12:47Didn’t every Ferrari powered car take their allocated 2nd CE after it failed for LeClerc and caused him to lose a race win early on this year which they then had to fix? Well then I guess Vettel has now solved that issue with this then. LeClerc however has that issue still to bite him at some point.MtthsMlw wrote: ↑28 Jul 2019, 12:58Yes they did. On sky they said regarding that corner it was if the drivers touched the green astro. I guess Hamilton didnt touch it. If you read the comments others also confirm it.Pyrone89 wrote: ↑28 Jul 2019, 12:20https://twitter.com/ajs1507/status/1155 ... 62246?s=21
At first I thought HAM was just inside the limits but this clearly shows he was as much over it as Gasly
Different corners different rules is perfectly fine because they are *dramatic music* different, and so are the track specific gains/consequences. Silverstone some years ago when some corners were fine and some were not, harder rules on the last corner in Austria for obvious reasons, lenient ones for specific corner in Baku (you know the one, after the tightest section next to a tower) and so on and so forth.astracrazy wrote: ↑28 Jul 2019, 13:35On sky they said regarding that corner it was if the drivers touched the green astro. Why different corners have different rules regarding track limits is beyond me. It should be the white line all around the track. Can you imagine the same rules in football if the ball crosses the line in some places you can carry on....
no, i think the first corners could be to risky but after that it's game on
