So ridiculous not to stay out of you’re RB - why not put them under pressure?!?
I was shouting at RBR pitwall's decision to pit Max.
That was a brain fade really, i would have made Max push lewis hard in the final two laps

In fairness, he wasn't close enough to push Hamilton.

Anyways great race from Lewis, well deserved

And again lucky podium for Leclerc
I’d say ‘opportunist’ for LeClerc 😊
Maybe driver of the day actually. Just run your race and hope for good things.

I'm gonna call it; these cars have too much downforce for the tires. Notice how most teams ran fairly small rear wings for Silverstone?

For what?
maybe driving a hazardous car past pit entry to finish line? :) I got no idea what rules say about these situations
It's illegal to finish the race in the pit lane, so he was legally obliged to drive past the pit lane on the final lap.
If memory serves that rule exists because of Schumi at Silverstone.

Any bets on a post race penalty for Hamilton?

They should be shown black and orange flag for that, and still they get 5 laps to do that (precedent from Suzuka 2019 Leclerc). the car was not discarding anything and no cars for 33 sec behind him...so what was the hazard?
Only harzard i see is sour grapes

Botta's was pushing fastest laps all the way so not too surprised it happened, this is why teams usually hold position and chill but Mercedes let them race all the way.

On a separate note Rosberg finished the 2016 Austrian GP with a damaged car and no front wing, hes result stood.

I remember the same thing happened to Ferrari in 2017.
Weird that it hit both Mercs, I assume they were cruising around managing the tyres.
Likely to do with set up, more camber than others or something

After today and Pirelli going softer next week it's a guaranteed two stopper.
Or 3?

I was surprised that not everybody opted to start on softs, given that its next weeks medium. Next week you surely do not want to start on soft.

Any team having a spare set of this weeks tyres should hide them carefully in the pit box :-)

That was the concern when Pirelli said they were going to bring 2019 tires for this season. Their 2020 tires were so bad no team approved them if I remember correctly.

I mean, you can say lucky podium - without Bottas’ issue of course there’s no podium - but incredible weekend from Charles to be in 4th (and with a gap to the field) given the car he’s driving and how far off Seb was.

This is good in my opinion, more pitstops

Any penalty would be extremely harsh. No opportunity to pit after the incident. It’s standard with a puncture to try and make it back to the pits so on the final lap surely no problem with going to the line. Plenty of cars have finished with damage in the past.

I think it’s just people wishing the win away from him for any possible reason.

Rosberg got a penalty, no? Maybe for the incident itself, no sure.
