From the onboards so far, looks a bit twitchy and understeers... could just be running more fuel, but definitely not as planted as the old oak trees I'm use to seeing on track.

The McLaren in comparison looks very good... again, fuel loads pending. Times are still a fair way off from what we were seeing in Testing a couple of weeks back unsurprisingly, so plenty of faster times to come.

True, but in comparing it to the likes of the Red Bull or McLaren for example, they both look a lot nicer and planted on track.

Again, I still think Mercedes has some more pace up their sleeve... we've seen them run heavy in Free Practice on the first race of the season in years before.

Ferrari also seemingly not looking too bad, BUT being a fan I'm keeping my feet firmly buried in the ground.

The Red Bull in VER's hands looked markedly better on its hot lap. Obviously, usual caveat around fuel load, but if they are indeed on similar-ish fuel loads, this bodes well for Red Bull.
