Little factoid for the record books. Hamilton continues to be the only driver who has won a race in every season. If he does retire at the end of this year, as some think, then that will be a new record.
If you are more fortunate than others, build a larger table not a taller fence.

Toto saying that the track limit was only for Practice and qualifying according to FIA mandate

But it was Horner's cheeky comment on air to Max asking to extend track which made the FIA to impliment it half way through and Lewis was asked to stop doing it.

But that came back to bite RBR itself when Max overtook

If the track wasn’t a parking lot, Max would have lost a wing trying to get by.

They need to enforce a pass back not a time penalty.
The turn is actually horrible looked it up on google maps its not flowing at all otherwise it would be a perfect overtaking spot

That was a great, great race. May this battle continue all year. Lewis certainly pulled that one out of the bag. The cars are very, very close. Max blew it and so did RBR. The Bottas option really played on RBR and made them doubt.
I think Bottas is going to have his best year.
The cars aren’t very, very close mate. The Red Bull is clearly faster. Nice try (again) though.
Opening stint proves me right. They are very close.
Nope, Max was saying he was managing his pace in first stint

But why did RBR let Lewis undercut them?
Thats when the race changed; they should have pitted first and protected their track position and none of this would have happened

That's what I thought after it happened too. Definitely a little game Red Bull were playing over the radio. Wolff was sure to point it out too!

Because it was 2 cars against 1. RedBull had to run their own strategy instead of following Mercedes.

First time poster but that was a cracker of a race. Did anyone catch the midfield battle in the last few laps? Action through out the grid. Still believe the bulls have the edge but should ebb and flow depending on the tracks

Is the penalty capped at 5s if VER stayed in front after the illegal overtake?
Team ANTI-HYPE. Prove it, then I’ll anoint you.

Nope; Bottas was 6 sec behind Lewis, how is that 2 against 1??

nope, there is no such cap; it can be anything from reprimand to disqualification

This is sweet after so many wrote off Mercedes and Lewis this weekend and look what happens, stop trying to kid yourselves, Lewis clearly doesn't need the best car to win as we just saw today =D>

They can leave 1 driver out long, and run two different kinds of strategies, if any 1 strategy proves to be better than the other.

Thats what happens when you make a car for just 1 person. This is now the 3rd teammate who can get nowhere near him. I think Verstappen and RedBull need to remember this when they start bitching that Verstappen is getting mugged by a double team all the time. You either make compromises so both can drive it or you don’t. RedBull clearly don’t.
Strongly disagree. It is up to the second driver to copy the lead driver's data traces. Same for Vettel at Ferrari, same for Verstappen senior at Benetton et al.
I would generally agree but it’s now 3 drivers. 1 who was quick then suddenly wasn't and then when put in another car is smashing it, 1 who looked quick and then suddenly didn’t and 1 with bags of experience. Surely as some point you have to ask why?
Some people just can't own up to the obvious fact that Red Bull 100% designs the car towards Max's preferences.

Bottas was definitely screwed by the pitstop issue. He was actually lapping at similar speed to Max/Lewis so if he'd had a normal stop, he might have put more pressure on Max.

yep, and that's exactly why his comment after the race is something he should have kept to himself.
