Get in there lewis
Seems he turned it off(the mode), but knocked it on again by accident while changing a gear. Unlucky, but compared to how this should have finished, I think he(and his fans) should feel ok.Restomaniac wrote: ↑06 Jun 2021, 16:33Looking at the restart Hamilton got a brilliant get away and if they brake together Hamilton is first so it doesn’t look like he needed to brake super late. In the wrong mode makes far more sense.
You did watch the onboards this weekend right? RB’s front wing flexes just as much as Mercs.
I wouldn’t be too excited about France.godlameroso wrote: ↑06 Jun 2021, 16:34Mad at Max for still having a 4 point lead? I'm thrilled it's still nip and tuck, bring on France! I'm entertained, just enjoying the show and the rollercoaster of feelings. I welcome the aneurism this season will inevitably cause.
Discussion during the race was that because they had more balance in the middle section they could recover more energy there and deploy it on the last section.sosic2121 wrote: ↑06 Jun 2021, 16:42Yes, I agree. seems Honda had more power/energy at the end of the straight
Thats my point. He clearly didn’t snatch a brake because he didn’t need too as he was sat in prime position to not need too. Being in the wrong mode makes sense.sosic2121 wrote: ↑06 Jun 2021, 16:40Seems he turned it off(the mode), but knocked it on again by accident while changing a gear. That was the radio transmission:AMG.Tzan wrote: ↑06 Jun 2021, 16:45So Hamilton's lock up...was it a driver error or a consequence of his brakes overheating?? Or 50-50??
Lewis has so much experience now...i wouldn't expect such a silly mistake from him! Maybe he got carried away...
Anyway, Hamilton and Verstapen dropping out gave us an epic podium!! That's great for Formula 1!!

He was ahead on the inside before the braking zone. He didn’t need too as he had the high ground. Wrong mode makes sense.AMG.Tzan wrote: ↑06 Jun 2021, 16:45So Hamilton's lock up...was it a driver error or a consequence of his brakes overheating?? Or 50-50??
