There are many people that cannot have the vaccination, even if they wanted it. Everybody should have to show a negative result at events like this.f1316 wrote: ↑17 Jul 2021, 13:40Or require a vaccine passport to attend, thereby also incentivising more folks to get vaccinated and hence better protecting everyone. These last 10 per cent or so of vaccinations are vital to actually reach a herd immunity and going to be hard to fill unless it’s actually required in order to go back to ‘normal’.cooken wrote: ↑17 Jul 2021, 13:05Frankly the vaccinated folks should be required to submit a negative test as well. The vaccine doesn't prevent carrying or transmitting the virus. So then if you are admitting non-vax you are potentially putting them at risk. Not to mention the potential to propagate at the track and then carry outside to the wider public.
In other news, channel 4 in the UK showing extended previews of the silly little skits and features they’ve got coming up *during a session*…. Yeah, who wants to see the cars when I can see a man in fake beard driving a taxi while talking rubbish to Max?
I personally know of two people that had both jabs, one ended up in hospital (was out in 2 days) and the other was very ill for almost 3 weeks. The vaccination does not give people some sort of immunity to being ill.
Also, there was a statistic a few weeks back and out of 100 patients that died in hospital, around 40% of tham had been given both jabs, 60% had been given either one or both and the rest no jabs.
Despite the ultra marketing campaign from the likes of Pfizer (who incidentally are now saying THREE jabs might be needed) Covid still hurts and kills vaccinated people.
Therefore... I think its only right EVERYBODY should have to show a negative test.
