Ear infection problem for Alonso going into race weekend

Renault F1 driver Fernando Alonso has been suffering from an ear infection for much of this week, disabling him from attending sponsor and team activities prior to the Malaysian GP. A spokesperson for the team told 'AP' news agency that Alonso should be perfectly fine by practice on Friday, and all he needs is rest away from the track until then.
