Sergio Pérez to test Ferrari F1 car
Sauber Motorsport driver Sergio Pérez will complete a test with a Ferrari Formula One car later this year. The Scuderia's head of the young driver academy, Luca Baldisseri, has confirmed the Mexican will be matched up against Jules Bianchi.
Luca Baldisseri noted: "“We will be back on track in September, at Mugello or Fiorano. It will be a very interesting test, because we will be putting Jules Bianchi and Sergio Perez up against one another. I think they will both be very motivated and for us it will be the perfect opportunity to assess both drivers."
The Ferrari Driver Academy furthermore has two new members this year, with Raffaele Marciello and Brandon Maisano who made their debuts at Formula 3 this year. Just like last year, the F3 champion will get the chance to drive a Ferrari during one of the winter tests towards the end of this year.
