Lotus debuts E23 on second day of testing
Lotus F1 Team have officially given their car its track debut on the second day of testing at Jerez, Spain after the team did not get their car at the circuit in time to run on the first day.
Having only given its car it's first startup on Saturday evening, the team subsequently flew the car over to Spain on Sunday and rolled it into the pits late in the afternoon to start assembly.
Pastor Maldonado took it out for an installation lap at around 10:30, followed by another lap 25 minutes later.
Lotus' testing debut means Sahara Force India is now the only team not to have unveiled or run its 2015 car, although they have said they will debut it at the next test in Barcelona, Spain on February 19.
