FIA to freeze engine technology

Today, the FIA will meet in Paris to discuss a radical new rule for 2008. Max mosley, the president of the governing body, the FIA, proposed a freez on engine technology for 3 season to cut costs for the Formula One teams.

Mosley wants to cut costs in Formula One, to improve the safety standards. Mosley hopes to finalise the new regulations for 2008 for 30 June this year. McLaren, BMW, Toyota and Honda are no big fans of the new rule. Renault was the one to put the idea forward.
