FIA decided on 12 teams for 2008
The FIA, the world governing body, has decided which 12 teams will participate the 2008 Formula One World Championship. Next week the FIA will announce the teams. All 11 teams that are participating the 2005 F1 Championship submitted their entries for 2008 and it is expected that they will be the ones accepted by the FIA.
There were 22 teams that signed up for the 2008 season, so that will leave 11 teams fighting for the 1 remaining spot.
Next Friday, the FIA will make a statement and we'll know for sure who the 12 lucky ones are.
