8 teams start testing
McLaren, Renault, Honda, Williams, BMW Sauber, Midlandf1, Scuderia Toro Rosso and Red Bull are starting a three day test programme at the home of the British Grand Prix, Silverstone. The six teams are taking the opportunity to test at the Northamptonshire circuit prior to the UK's round of the Formula One World Championship, which takes place on Sunday 11th June.
