Ferrari testing at two fronts
First day of testing this week for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro, working as from today on two fronts ; Fiorano and Le Castellet. Work for both test teams revolved mainly around preparation for the Monaco Grand Prix, which takes place in the Principality of that name on Sunday 28th May. At Le Castellet, running on the 2D-SC version of the circuit, Felipe Massa began a Bridgestone tyre development programme, covering a total of 128 laps, the quickest in a time of 1'05"707.
Luca Badoer was in action at Fiorano, working on set-up and testing new components. The Scuderia's official test driver completed 88 laps (twelve on the short version of the track,) setting a best time of 58"538.
The Scuderia continues testing tomorrow: Felipe Massa continues at Le Castellet, while Michael Schumacher will be on track at Fiorano.
