Alonso fastest in last Monaco practice session
Fernando Alonso was fastest during the last free practice session before the Monaco Grand Prix this morning. The World Champion was followed by Michael Schumacher and Giancarlo Fisichella. Qualifying this afternoon promises to be an absolute lottery. With just 15 minutes and 22 cars in the first session we can expect to see some unexpected drivers dropping out early. It’s not a simple case of who is quickest – the pole will come down to timing, precision and more than anything, luck.
