JV concerned about Hungaroring
Jacques Villeneuve has warned his fans not to expect too much from him at this weekend's Hungarian GP, because of the six circuits still be raced at this season, the Hungaroring is the one where he most expects BMW-Sauber to struggle.
In his very first season in Formula One, Jacques claimed the Hungarian Grand Prix victory ahead of his then Williams team-mate Damon Hill, and repeated the feat the following season, again beating Hill.
The next year, 1998, JV again scored points in Budapest when he finished the race in third place, however, that was the last time he was to finish in the points and this year he's concerned could prove to be yet another point-less trip to Hungary.
"I'm not sure how competitive we will be. This is the one track we have got left to go to this season that is a bit of a worry for me."
"It is always a very physical and long race, and it is exhausting."
But aside from the physical aspect, Jacques also feels the Hungarian Grand Prix is one of the boring races on the calendar.
"They have not made much of a change to the circuit and it has not made it any more interesting to drive," he concluded.
