Windy day for Klien at Le Castellet
The Honda Racing F1 Team began a four-day test at the Paul Ricard circuit in the south of France on Tuesday in preparation for the next two Formula One races on the calendar - the Monaco and Canadian Grands Prix.
The team will be running one RA107 over the course of the four days with race drivers Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello, plus third driver Christian Klien, all taking their turn in the car.
Christian began the test programme today with the Paul Ricard circuit set up in a short Monaco-style configuration. He spent the day focusing on a series of evaluations with the latest aero configurations for the car. Unfortunately the weather in Paul Ricard was extremely windy which made the collection of consistent date difficult. Christian completed a total of 115 laps today.
Rubens will take over the car from Christian tomorrow for the second day of testing on the Monaco configuration circuit.
