Heikki apologises to mechanics
Heikki Kovalainen, the ING Renault F1 Team rookie, has apologised to his mechanics and the team for his crash. It has been a terrible weekend for the Finn as he crashed during the second free practice session yesterday, had an engine problem this morning and crashed again during the qualifying session. Hopefully for Heikki, he'll be able to perform well during tomorrow's race.
Heikki Kovalainen "The first thing I want to say is thank you to my mechanics: they have worked so hard all weekend, changing chassis overnight, the engine this morning, and then making repairs during the first part of qualifying after I hit the wall. They have done a really incredible job, and I am just sorry that I couldn’t pay them back with a better qualifying performance."
