Following the best individual result in its short history, the BMW Sauber F1 Team will face its next challenge as early as this weekend: The US Grand Prix, round seven of the 2007 season, is held this weekend at Indianapolis.

The BMW Sauber F1 Team packed up all its kit in Montreal on Sunday evening. Counting the race cars, spare parts, pit equipment and tools, even the kitchen crockery, it amounted to more than 30 tonnes in weight. On Sunday night, 60 trucks, carrying the entire Formula One consignment, hit the road and on Monday evening the convoy arrived at Indianapolis, 1,400 kilometres away.

By then, the team, which travelled together on a charter flight from Canada to the USA on Monday, was already in place and poised to start setting everything up and preparing the cars.

On Thursday at 16:00hrs, the BMW Sauber F1 Team will announce its driver pairing for the weekend. Following his serious accident in the Canadian GP at the "Circuit Gilles Villeneuve", Robert will have to undergo a medical examination to discover if he is fit for racing.
