Kubica praises development work of BMW

Following his severe accident in Montreal, Robert Kubica has quickly returned to success, collecting a total of ten points in the French and British Grands Prix. "It is true that I qualified fourth and fifth for the last two Grands Prix, but that is mainly due to the fact that we have managed to develop a better car balance," says Robert of the last two qualifying sessions.

While Kubica was slightly slower than his team mate in qualifying at the beginning of the 2007 Formula One season, he has managed to achieve a better starting position than Nick Heidfeld in the two races in France and in England. "I had a few problems at the start of the season. Now we're returning to normality and I'm happy about that. It's important to continue to work in this direction," says Robert of his most recent successes.

At the moment, the question of whether he is faster than his team mate or not is not important for Robert. He says: "I really don't care if I'm ahead of my team mate or not. I have to be ahead of all the other drivers. Obviously, if I can achieve that I'm automatically ahead of my team mate."
