In an interview with the German magazine 'Der Spiegel', Bernie Ecclestone said that races around the globe are the future of the sport. Ecclestone already added Singapore and Valencia to the 2008 calendar and a GP in Abu Dhabi in 2009, but the Formula One supremo wants to go further than that...
Ecclestone said: "We want to stage a world championship, not a European championship."
