Renault launches own youtube channel
Just like Ferrari, the ING Renault F1 Team has launched its official channel on YouTube, the video-sharing website. This initiative will take the team to an even wider audience by making the team’s video content available to web users.
The ING Renault F1 Team already has a strong presence on the web, with both a team site and a fan site entirely dedicated to the supporters. But from now the team will also showcase its video content on its official YouTube channel, the site of reference for video-sharing.
With the aim of giving privileged access to fans of the sport and supporters of the team, the ING Renault F1 Team hopes that the creation of this official page can help capture a new audience. With 15 videos already uploaded to the page, it will allow both enthusiasts and casual fans to easily discover more about the ING Renault F1 Team. Users can share these videos with their friends and can look forward to regular content updates – it’s all just a click away!
Content already includes the team launch, reports on the drivers, interviews with key members of the team, and reports on our demonstration programme which visits the major cities of the world. It’s an ideal way for web surfers to stay in touch with news on the ING Renault F1 Team and to interact directly with the team by posting messages and comments.
With nearly 100 million videos broadcast every day, and close to 20 million unique users each month, YouTube has emerged as the most effective way to share video content, and as such is the ideal tool for supporting the communication efforts of the ING Renault F1 Team on the internet.
