Drivers to take part in charity fashion show at Monaco

The Formula One drivers and their wives or girlfriends are to take part in a special charity fashion show during the Monaco Grand Prix weekend. The event will raise money for the Elton John Aids Foundation.

The fashion show, hosted by Steve Rider and Tamara Ecclestone, will take place on Friday night. The complete Ecclestone family will be present at the event as the menswear collection FORM of Petra Ecclestone will be launched that evening.

Sonia Irvine, Amber Fashion director, said: "It is an honour for Amber Fashion to be supporting the EJAF and we are very grateful for the personal attention David Furnish is giving this project.

"HRH Prince Albert II of Monaco has also kindly graced us with his presence for the past two years while F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone and his family were additional honoured guests last year.

"We firmly believe that this year's event will be our best to date with Formula One drivers this time joining their wives and girlfriends on the catwalk."

There will also be a be a charity auction which includes a piano used by Elton John and a week on the yacht of Vijay Mallay.
