My memory isn't the best, but I think it was the first time I saw a driver cross the exit line when leaving the pits and not get punished.

Its becoming a norm lately that the let them race benefits only RB i suppose.
- Leclerc missing weigh bridge
- Carlos crashing into Perez under yellow.

None if it should have been a penalty, and that line on fresh slicks, shouldnt be either
1) THE RULES says that you dont'n miss the weight bridge UNTIL you have parked inside your box ....not IF you pass the weight machine line: if you come back between these two moments you are OK.

2) THERE IS NO RULE punishing someone crashing under yellow or even SC (happened more than one in the past).
AND APPARANTLY THE RULE OF THE LINE has not been breached by Verstappen. Lets move on :)

Pit in should be all 4 wheels in my opinion, in race conditions there needs to be some wiggle room for breaking the tow, certain tracks like Bahrain or Monaco that would look crazy but that Saudi pic it’s kind of on the inside of a left bend…I dunno.

The pit out should be slam dunk any wheel….but then in Monaco you’re inside of a corner and not affecting live traffic. I missed the Saudi Fer incident, so maybe honours even, clarify it and move on. It’s so unclear with the FIA at the moment I don’t know how they claw it back

(FYI I want clear rules that are followed to the letter)

and this is the second fraud after jeddah's overtake under SC from Perez that not concede the chance to carlos to attack verstappen on the restart. Just to underline the facts

From 2021 to 2022 the ruling have been changed from “drivers must keep to the right of the line” to “drivers must not cross the line”, it seems. But there still was confusion because the Race Director Event Notes still had the old ruling in it and therefore were not consistent with the FIA Sporting Code.

Bunch of clowns.

Red Bull could have hook line and sinkered them with this photo from Saudi.

Would have been utterly stupid for this protest to be upheld. Desperation from Ferrari
This the the pit entry, not exit though...

I’m amazed at him still not seeing the difference. Drivers have been crossing the pit entry line in Brazil for ages now, for example. Don’t know why he insists on bringing Jeddah.

This is BS

The stewards agreed with Red Bull’s point of view, noting that Article 5 c) of Chapter IV of Appendix L of the ISC “stipulates that at the pit exit a car ‘must not cross’ the line.”
"In this case, the car did not “cross” the line – to do so it would have needed to have a full wheel to the left of the yellow line,” the stewards said.

Redbull must have a Jedi on the team, "this isn't the Line you are looking for"
They seem to believe and agree with anything Redbull tells them.

How many times has this being penalised in the past

Same paragraph and wording is used in the ISC chapter IV Appendix L for both ENTRY and EXIT

The line on the track is pit entry…only if you are entering the pits.
