It wasn't smaller incident than Alonso-Zhou which was 10s also.

Sure. But it is still something that others also do/have done.GrizzleBoy wrote: ↑30 Jun 2024, 16:52The FIA literally drafted new rules for not moving in the braking zone because of Max Verstappen.
Before he entered F1 it was an unwritten rule that most everybdriver understood.
The reason the rule exists now, is literally to avoid the kinds of incidents that happened today where Lando almost ended up in Maxs diffuser the first time he tried to overtake due to Max cutting almost the entire width of the track in the braking zone , or the last one where Lando ultimately picked a place to brake, but had to contend with Max turning I to him deep in the braking zone which he would t even be able to avoid properly as he's hard on the brakes..
This move is attributed to Max, because it's his signature move.
The stewards aren't responsible for anything just because they don't interpret the rules in the same way as the internet crowd think they should.GrizzleBoy wrote: ↑30 Jun 2024, 16:42The Stewards are the ones responsible for Lando missing out on a win in my opinion
Listening to Horner now too. The same bullsh*t.InsaneX_Badger wrote: ↑30 Jun 2024, 17:06The interview from Max tells you everything. That's about as close to an apology Lando will ever get.
Max could have backed out and ceded the place. That is how drivers are judged now. Generally dive bombs are allowed these days as long as the overtaking car makes the corner which Norris did.
Stella is 100% correct.InsaneX_Badger wrote: ↑30 Jun 2024, 17:10Stella on the chequered flag is going really in on the racing stewarding. Clearly stating that not going hard enough on both Lewis and Max in 2021 has led to this driving.
This is what is also on my mind. Everything Lando did this race Max has done and even more, if anything he has been the reason why racing has become like this since he joined the grid. I will say it's certainly not a bad thing at all, but the stewards need to just step up and show that this driving conduct cannot stand.trinidefender wrote: ↑30 Jun 2024, 17:13Max could have backed out and ceded the place. Ironically it was max himself who popularised these sorts of overtakes heavily in 2020/2021 and change the view of the stewards to allow this sort of racing.
