That's what I think too. But it's nice to see it getting some laps done.JimClarkFan wrote:Xero wrote:Great to see Jenson hit 44 laps by the lunch break! Good news.
Does anyone have the times... my suspicion is that the engine is still not running at full power.
Presumably they will keep it this way and get whatever they can done of their schedule before ramping the power up for the last few days.
Still no idea where Mclaren is at relative to it's competitors. But hopefully they give us a taste of it's actual performance at some point over the test.
I'd rather see a race simulationXero wrote:Yes, still reduced power I believe. With a Melbourne spec engine arriving for tomorrow, which fixes all the issues they've had (they say), I'm guessing we'll see some running at full power. Dare say a qually simulation or two!

New or old mediums, that's the question. Nevertheless, they are driving! Laptimes are not that bad. Hope the new engine will give them a bit more power and stay in one piece.mikeerfol wrote:So a 13 lap stint on mediums just ended for JB, his laptimes :
And Button's current stint times: 1:30.963, 1:30.870, 1:30.969, 1:31.111, 1:30.861, 1:31.057, 1:31.268, 1:31.135, 1:31.365, 1:31.355, 1:31.302, 1:31.502, and pits.
