I was talking earlier about that the fuel load could be deceiving during testing, and I'll still take caution, but that did look like a pure qualy run, only 1 flying lap. It would be slightly surprising if he had more fuel in the tank then needed, and very ominous.

I don't really think the super soft is that much faster than the soft. I think the SS tyres would be destroy at the start of the last sector..

In 2013 we had people compromising sector 1 in order not to overheat the tyres in the last sector.

Of course these are winter conditions, and since 2013 the tyres became harder and changed from the steel belt back to the kevlar belt, which doesn't heat up as much. I think they can fully push the car on SS's for a full lap without issues. Maybe not when they arrive at the race in spring, however.
