Who said anything about Hamilton? (To be fair I mentioned him, but the point was about Di Resta rather than anything else. My feeling is that the others are able to keep their emotions from spilling over a bit more. Croft didn't sound like he was at a funeral when either Verstappen or Hamilton was out.)Sieper wrote: ↑07 Jun 2021, 12:26Everybody on Sky needs to be for Hamilton? Brundle f.e. Quite clearly is. Ant is. Easy to recognize as well. Sam Collins is actually (is he Sky?) fanatically for Hamilton. And next to that against Verstappen. Sky isn’t watched just in the UK you know.El Scorchio wrote: ↑07 Jun 2021, 11:17Yes, the one moment Di Resta perked up and had a bit of hope in his sad, solemn voice again, until Hamilton went off when he started sounding like a kid at Christmas!
But to that point, Sky is primarily paid for BY the UK public and has UK talking heads FOR the UK public. It's kind of incidental that other countries take their commentary team just because of economics and the fact that English is so widely spoken.
Ziggo are REALLY impartial, of course....
