Villeneuve about his weekend
Jacques Villeneuve talks about his weekend in Brazil. Jacques Villeneuve finished in 12th position just after his team mate at Sauber, Felipe Massa. It's onwards and upwards for the former world champion.
Jacques Villeneuve
"I am happy with my weekend in Brazil. We did a very good qualifying session considering the amount of fuel we decided to put in the car.
As in Spa, Felipe and I were on different strategies and, with the set-up I had, the car was extremely well balanced. On Sunday, I was unfortunately forced to start from the pitlane because the team changed a small defective part on my car without giving the FIA any pre-warning. It was a mistake but as I said after the race, errors are human and they can be made by anyone!
But thanks to the good work from the team, we recovered most of the time we lost. I am now off to Switzerland for three days training and a bit of rest. The last races will be good I think, we made steady progress with the team and I am really happy with the work done.
Suzuka should be interesting - it's a track that I really like - and going to Japan always brings back good memories from the days I was living there."
