Heidfeld signs with Mercedes GP as test driver
The manager of Nick Heidfeld, Andre Theuerzeit, declared to the German magazine 'Bild' that his driver signed a contract with the Mercedes Grand Prix team as test and reserve driver for the 2010 season. This ends the rumours that 'Quick Nick' would join his former team mate Robert Kubica at Renault.
Theuerzeit said to 'Bild': "Nick will fully concentrate on supporting the team's main drivers as the team's test and reserve driver."
