López to be announced at US F1 tomorrow

José Maria López will make his Formula One debut for the US F1 Team. This was announced by his manager Mattos to the press agency 'Reuters'. The Argentinian, who raced in TC2000 in his own country and won the title in the past two years, had his first F1 experience as a Renault test driver in 2006.

Mattos said: "Everything has been agreed and the official announcement will be made on Monday."

With this announcement, USF1 would finally have a confirmed race driver for 2010. To date it is the only team that has not made any statement about any of its drivers, but with testing rapidly closing, an announcement was due to be made.
