Spa-Francorchamps enjoys smooth ticket sale

F1 Grand Prix, GP Belgium, Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps

Ticket sales for the Belgian GP at Spa-Francorchamps, to be held in 2 weeks time is going well. The organisers are hoping to exceed the number of expected visitors and try to promote the Grand Prix by using Jérôme D'Ambrosio's presence in Formula One.

Last year the Belgian GP had 55,000 visitors, but to cover the costs at least 65,000 would be needed.

The organisers however are sure they can do much better than last year. André Maes commented: "Visitor numbers will be higher this year. The effect of Jérôme D'Ambrosio is no stranger to that."

"We expect for 2012 even higher numbers, as our Belgian drivers will be even more known by then."
